25th Anniversary Celebrations of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation

20 October 2017

The Australian Rural Leadership Foundation celebrates 25 years of developing leaders for rural, regional and remote at the National Museum of Australia in Canberra today.

The occasion will be celebrated at the Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP) Course 23 Graduation Ceremony in the morning, followed by the Regional Australia Leadership Assembly, and culminating with the Gala Dinner.

“These events provide us with an opportunity to reflect on past achievements, acknowledge outstanding contributions and celebrate the ongoing impact of the Foundation across Australia,” said Michael Carroll, Board Chair of the Foundation.

“This impact is evident in the Foundation’s alumni who are continuing to lead and influence in their industries and communities. These events provide us with an opportunity to shine a light on some of our alumni and those who have contributed to the organisation’s success,” he said.

Matt Linnegar, Chief Executive of the Foundation said, “We are thrilled with the support from our sponsors, alumni and partners for our 25th Anniversary Celebrations. We have almost 800 attendees across the various events.”

“We would like to thank our event sponsors and our partner organisations for their support and investment in developing leaders who are shaping the future of our country.”

The Foundation is a not-for-profit organisation which was established in 1992 with the aim to develop leaders to influence change across rural organisations, industries, and communities.

“Through delivering leadership programs, including the iconic ARLP, we have developed over 1,000 leaders for regional Australia,” said Matt.
