Members & Fellows

We have over 1,000 members across Australia and this network of people is the cornerstone of rural, regional and remote leadership.

Their contribution

Our leaders contribute to their industry, community or sector by:

  • showing leadership
  • instigating change and development at the local, regional, state, national or international levels
  • taking part in policy development
  • engaging in debate about social or structural change/reform
  • working with their program sponsor to ‘give-back’ to Australia
  • working with us, so we can be well-advised and responsive to the needs of Australia.

Our membership

Our network members include:

  • Honorary Fellows of the Foundation – bestowed upon someone because of their long term support of the Foundation and their commitment to rural, regional and remote Australia
  • Graduates of the Australian Rural Leadership Program and the Murray Darling Basin Program who are Foundation ‘Fellows’
  • Graduates of TRAILblazers, Nuffield Australia Scholars, State Finalists of the RIRDC Rural Woman of the Year, who constitute the category of ‘Associate Fellows’
  • Members of the Foundation, comprising graduates of TRAIL and client-based programs conducted by the Foundation.

Our Network

To help with any leadership challenge, our members have access to a dynamic, diverse and committed network to call upon.
