Hannah Wandel and Leigh Radford to Co-host ARLF Gala Dinner

10 September 2018

THURSDAY 18TH OCTOBER 2018 – National Museum of Australia – Lawson Cres – Canberra

In what is shaping up to be an immense week of all things regional, rural and remote in Canberra, we encourage you to join us on 18th October for the ARLF Gala Dinner.  The night is promising to be a special evening of fun, frivolity, networking and celebration of the development and leadership opportunities across this incredible country.

This celebration provides us an opportunity to congratulate our newest graduates, reflect on past achievements and celebrate the ongoing impact of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation.

Hannah Wandel is a social entrepreneur and gender equality advocate, who has empowered thousands of young women across Australia to reach their leadership potential. Hannah is the Founder and CEO of national non-profit organisation Country to Canberra, where in 2018 alone, she is voluntarily travelling over 30,000km with her team to reach over 3,500 girls in 80 bush communities to drive change.

Leigh Radford is a multi-award winning broadcaster, with a number of Awards for Excellence in Rural Journalism. Leigh has been recognised as an Honorary Fellow of the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation ‘in recognition of exceptional service and commitment to rural and regional Australia’. He has also been honoured by Rural Media South Australia as a “Rural Media Icon” for his ‘long term contribution to rural media in Australia’.
