Applications open for ARLP C28

21 July 2020

Applications for Course 28 of the Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP) open today.

The Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP) is a dynamic experiential learning program focused on the development of leadership for individuals and collectives who are contributing to the future prosperity of rural and regional Australia.

Delivered under the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF) banner for almost 30 years, the ARLP is underpinned by a process of continual improvement and is guided by global best practice in adaptive leadership education.

In each cohort, approximately 30 leaders are engaged in a series of unique, immersive experiences (delivered in real-world contexts) to develop the adaptive skills to confidently overcome future challenges and act for the ‘greater good’ of rural and regional Australia.

Over 15 months, three sessions take place in Australia and one is held overseas.

‘This is a life-changing opportunity for people working in regional Australia. People working in primary industries, agribusiness, the arts, policy and advocacy, health, economic development and the environment sector are all encouraged to apply,’ said Matt Linnegar, ARLF Chief Executive.

The Foundation’s generous partners provide a $55,000 scholarship for participants to undertake the program.

Graduates of the ARLP continue to influence change and have positive impact in regional Australia.

The program will run from June 2021 to October 2022. Applications for ARLP Course 28 will close on 16 August 2020.
