Honorary Fellow Membership Nominations

19 July 2021

The Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF) Board has the power to induct an individual as an Honorary Fellow providing the nominee meets one or more of the following three selection criteria:

  1. The individual has provided meritorious service to the ARLF.
  2. The individual shows a commitment to, and has provided meritorious service to rural, regional or remote Australia and/or to communities, industries or (not of) groups within it.
  3. The individual exhibits values that are compatible with those of the ARLF and has a proven or potential capacity to make a significant contribution to the ARLF and its network of fellows.

An Honorary Fellow membership is the highest honour category of the ARLF. Under the ARLF’s Constitution, an Honorary Fellow enjoys the general rights and privileges of Fellow Members of the ARLF except that they cannot stand for election to the Board of Directors.

To be considered for the award of Honorary Fellow, the Nomination Form for an Honorary Fellow must be provided to the Chief Executive of the ARLF by close of business, Monday 13 September 2021 to enable the Board to consider the nomination. Forms without signatures of the nominee and the nominator will not be accepted as a valid nomination.

Nominations can be made by Fellow members and Honorary Fellow members of the ARLF.

Upon consideration of the nomination and a unanimous decision, the ARLF Board may induct an individual as an Honorary Fellow in 2022 at an event of its choosing.

Nominations close 13 September 2021 and can be submitted using the following methods:
