Milparanga Emerging Leadership Program

You can expect to:

  • Make connections with other Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leaders from across Australia in a culturally safe place
  • Engage in conversations and projects that explore collaboration
  • Learn from Indigenous facilitators
  • Make connections that will last a lifetime

Would you like to:

  • Challenge yourself to grow and learn by stepping outside your comfort zone
  • Become a confident public speaker
  • Develop your understanding of Indigenous leadership, history and legacy
  • Develop skills and be guided on how to make a positive change

Activities you’ll engage in:

  • Hear stories from Indigenous leaders
  • Visit culturally significant sites to learn about Indigenous history and legacies
  • Meet and workshop with Milparanga alumni
  • Challenging outdoor recreational components
  • Activities that will help you develop self-awareness and how to communicate with others

Graduates will join a network of over 300 Indigenous alumni who support each other as they continue to develop Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander leadership capability. Graduates can apply to participate in the Milparanga Mentoring Program as a mentor or mentee.

Cost per participant:

Each participant is required to pay a program administration and membership fee of $200+gst.
