As a condition of applying for and participating in the Australian Agribusiness Leadership Program (AALP), I confirm that I understand and agree to the following:

  • I understand the AALP is delivered over multiple sessions across a set period and I am able to commit to attending and actively participating in all sessions and required activities.

  • I acknowledge that participation requires time away from home and work, and I confirm I have discussed this commitment with my family and employer.

  • I understand that participation in the entire program is compulsory and there are no optional components.

  • I confirm I am willing to actively engage with my sponsor as required, including contributing to communication and reporting through videos, surveys, written reflections, presentations, or other agreed channels before, during and after the program.

  • I agree to pay the program fees as outlined by the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF), or as supported by a sponsor, and understand that fees are generally non-refundable.

  • I understand I am responsible for personal and incidental costs not covered by ARLF, including some meals, personal expenses, private transport, and any additional travel or accommodation outside program arrangements.

  • I will provide accurate and up-to-date health and medical information and, if requested, obtain medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner. I understand that if I cannot obtain clearance, my participation may be limited or withdrawn.

  • I understand the program may include physically or emotionally demanding activities, sometimes in regional or remote locations with limited access to medical facilities, and I participate at my own risk.

  • I agree to follow all ARLF policies, including the Participant Attendance Policy, Code of Conduct, and any reasonable directions given by ARLF staff or authorised representatives.

  • I understand that serious breaches of behaviour expectations may result in my participation being withdrawn.

  • I give permission for ARLF to collect, use and share my personal information for program delivery, selection, evaluation and reporting purposes, in line with the ARLF Privacy Policy and Collection Notice.

  • I consent to ARLF using my name, professional details and photographs taken during the program in promotional material, including on digital and social media platforms.

  • I agree to respect the confidential nature of the program, including observing the Chatham House Rule where it applies.

  • I will notify ARLF as soon as possible of any changes to my employment, personal circumstances, or contact details that may affect my participation, fees, or sponsorship arrangements.

As a condition of applying for and participating in the Australian Rural Leadership Program (ARLP), I confirm that I understand and agree to the following: 

  • I understand the ARLP requires up to 50 days over a 15-month period, including approximately 40 face-to-face days and online sessions, and I confirm I am able to commit to all dates as outlined on the ARLF information page. 
  • I acknowledge that participation requires extended periods away from home, including a 10-day period of no contact during Session 1, and confirm I have discussed this commitment with my family and employer. 
  • I confirm I am willing to actively engage with my sponsor as required, including contributing to communication and reporting through videos, surveys, written reports, presentations, or other channels, before, during, and after the program. 
  • I agree to make a personal contribution of $5,500* (including GST) towards the cost of participation. I understand this is tax-deductible as a self-education expense.  
  • I understand that, if selected, I must attend an individual readiness interview as part of the final selection process
  • I understand that I will need to be available for a group interview should I progress to the next application round
  • I give permission for the ARLF to use and share my application information for selection purposes, including with third parties or potential sponsors, in line with the ARLF Privacy Policy and Collection Notice. 
  • I undertake to positively promote my experience with the ARLP, during and after the program, and acknowledge I may be invited to participate in media activities. 
  • I will notify the ARLF as soon as possible of any changes to my employment or residential information during the application process and program.

As a condition of applying for and participating in the Milparanga Emerging Leaders Program I confirm that I understand and agree to the following: 

  • I understand that I need to attend all 6 days of the program, and a pre-session online meet and greet, and I confirm I am able to commit to all dates plus travel days.  
  • I acknowledge that participation requires that I will be away from home and confirm I have discussed this commitment with my family and employer. 
  • I confirm I am willing to actively engage with my sponsor as required, including contributing to communication and reporting through videos, surveys, written reports, presentations, or other channels, before, during, and after the program. 
  • I agree to make a personal contribution of $220* (including GST) towards the cost of participation. I understand this is tax-deductible as a self-education expense.  
  • I understand that, if selected, I must attend an individual readiness interview/yarn as part of the final selection process.  
  • I give permission for the ARLF to use and share my application information for selection purposes, including with third parties or potential sponsors, in line with the ARLF Privacy Policy and Collection Notice. 
  • I undertake to positively promote my experience with the Milparanga Emerging Leaders Program, during and after the program, and acknowledge I may be invited to participate in media activities. 
  • I will notify the ARLF as soon as possible of any changes to my employment or residential information during the application process and program.

As a condition of applying for and participating in the Milparanga Established Leaders Program, I confirm that I understand and agree to the following:

  • I will attend and actively participate in the full program, including any pre- and post-program online check-ins. I understand there are no optional components.

  • I acknowledge I’ll be away from home for the duration noted above and have discussed this commitment with my family, community and employer.

  • I agree to pay a personal contribution of $330* (including GST), unless covered by a sponsor. I understand unpaid fees may attract an administration fee and that ARLF may withdraw my place if fees are not paid.

  • If my fees are paid by a sponsor, I agree to meet program obligations. I understand that if I don’t, ARLF may withdraw my place and I may be required to repay the sponsor.

  • I will engage with sponsors as requested, including contributing to communications and reporting (for example, impact yarns, videos, surveys and short written updates) before, during and after the program.

  • I will comply with ARLF policies relevant to participation (including Code of Conduct, Participant Attendance, Work Health and Safety, Privacy, Communicable and Infectious Diseases, Grievance and Disputes, Collection Policy, and Media Consent).

  • I will uphold respectful behaviour and a safe environment for all. I understand serious breaches (for example, unsafe conduct or substance misuse) may result in my removal from the program.

  • I understand ARLF may use third-party providers to deliver parts of the program.

  • I will provide accurate health information as requested. If ARLF asks for a medical clearance, I will obtain one. I understand that without clearance I may not be able to participate in all or part of the program.

  • I accept that program activities can be physically and emotionally demanding and that participation is at my own risk. I will take responsibility for my personal insurance as needed.

  • I will keep ARLF informed—promptly and in writing—of any change to my personal, employment or circumstance details that may affect scholarships, fees or participation.

  • I understand ARLF may adjust program delivery or policies where required and will aim to let participants know of changes.

  • I agree to care for any equipment provided and understand I’m responsible for loss or damage I cause.

  • I will organise and pay for my own travel outside ARLF-arranged transport (for example, taxis to and from airports) and cover incidentals such as personal beverages, internet, phone/sim cards, laundry and other room services. I will pay for meals on free evenings/days when group catering isn’t provided.

  • I understand any changes I request to flights or accommodation outside ARLF arrangements may incur the provider’s change fees plus an ARLF administration fee.

  • I consent to ARLF using my application information for selection and sponsorship purposes in line with the ARLF Privacy Policy and Collection Notice.

  • I consent to ARLF using my name, image and agreed details (such as hometown and professional role) in program materials and media during and after the program.

  • I will observe confidentiality requirements, including the Chatham House Rule, when advised.

  • I acknowledge that any original work I create during the program is mine, and I grant ARLF a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use and adapt it for program purposes. I will not infringe ARLF’s intellectual property.

  • I will follow ARLF directions related to disease outbreaks and quarantine. If a disease outbreak disrupts delivery, I understand ARLF will cover reasonable costs during the scheduled program period; costs beyond the scheduled period (for example, extended quarantine, additional accommodation, travel changes and medical expenses) are my responsibility.

  • I acknowledge that ARLF maintains public liability and travel insurance for the program period; however, I remain responsible for my personal health/accident/property insurance needs.

As a condition of applying for and participating in the National Mentoring Initative, I confirm that I understand and agree to the following:

  • I understand that my place on the Initiative has been funded by the Australian Government through the Future Drought Fund’s Communities Program and delivered by the ARLF and I have an obligation to attend all of the scheduled sessions. The entire program is compulsory, there are no optional components.  
  • I acknowledge that due to the limited spots in the Initiative, the Foundation may have foregone participation from another potential participant so that I received a spot in the Initiative.  
  • I agree to be a fully active and engaged member of the Initiative. 
  • I agree to abide by the Chatham House Rule during my participation in the Initiative and will thereby ensure that participants and speakers may speak freely in the knowledge that what they have said will not be reported on or attributed to them outside the meeting room.
  • I understand the National Drought Mentoring Program runs for a set period at a specified location, and I am able to commit to attending and actively participating in the entire program.
  • I acknowledge that participation requires being away from home for the full program period and confirm I have discussed this commitment with my family and employer.
  • I confirm I am willing to actively engage with my sponsor as required, including contributing to communication and reporting through videos, surveys, written reports, presentations, or other channels before, during and after the program.
  • I will provide accurate health and medical information to the ARLF and, if requested, obtain a medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner to participate. I understand that if I cannot obtain medical clearance, I may be unable to participate in all or part of the program.
  • I agree to follow all ARLF policies, the Participant Attendance Policy, the Code of Conduct, and any reasonable directions given by ARLF staff or authorised representatives.
  • I understand that ARLF may use my name, hometown, professional details and photographs taken during the program in promotional material, including on social media, in line with the ARLF Privacy Policy and Collection Notice.
  • I will keep confidential any information shared in confidence during the program, including where the Chatham House Rule applies.
  • I will notify the ARLF as soon as possible of any changes to my employment, personal circumstances, or contact details that could affect my participation or sponsorship arrangements.
  • I agree to the use of my imagery to promote this Initiative and to be contacted by the ARLF for communication purposes.  

As a condition of applying for and participating in the Torres Strait Young Leaders Program, I confirm that I understand and agree to the following:

  • I understand the Torres Strait Young Leaders Program is delivered during a set period, and I am able to commit to attending and actively participating in the entire program.

  • I acknowledge that participation requires time away from home and community, and I confirm I have discussed this commitment with my family, employer, and relevant community supports.

  • I understand that participation in the full program is required and there are no optional components.

  • I confirm I am willing to engage with program partners and sponsors as required, including contributing to communication and reporting through impact yarns, videos, surveys, reflections, or other agreed channels before, during and after the program.

  • I agree to pay the program fee as outlined by the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF), where applicable, and understand that fees are generally non-refundable unless ARLF determines otherwise.

  • I understand that ARLF covers accommodation, most meals and transport during the program, and that I am responsible for personal and incidental costs not included, such as personal purchases, private transport, internet access, and other non-program expenses.

  • I understand that I am responsible for any costs associated with changes to flights or accommodation outside of arrangements made by ARLF, including any applicable administration or change fees.

  • I will provide accurate and up-to-date health and medical information and, if requested, obtain medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner. I understand that if I cannot obtain medical clearance, my participation may be limited or withdrawn.

  • I understand the program may include physically or emotionally demanding activities, sometimes in remote locations with limited access to medical facilities, and I participate at my own risk.

  • I agree to follow all ARLF policies, including the Participant Attendance Policy, Code of Conduct, Communicable and Infectious Diseases Policy, and any reasonable directions given by ARLF staff or authorised representatives.

  • I understand that serious breaches of behaviour expectations may result in my participation being suspended or withdrawn.

  • I give permission for ARLF to collect, use and share my personal information for program delivery, evaluation, reporting and communication purposes, in line with the ARLF Privacy Policy and Collection Notice.

  • I consent to ARLF using my name, community details and photographs taken during the program in promotional and reporting material, including digital and social media, in culturally respectful ways.

  • I agree to respect the confidential nature of the program and to observe the Chatham House Rule where it applies.

  • I commit to attending any scheduled pre- and post-program check-ins or online engagement sessions.

  • I will notify ARLF as soon as possible of any changes to my personal circumstances or contact details that may affect my participation or travel arrangements.

As a condition of applying for and participating in the TRAIL Emerging Leaders Program, I confirm that I understand and agree to the following:

  • I understand the TRAIL Emerging Leaders Program runs for a set period at a specified location, and I am able to commit to attending and actively participating in the entire program.
  • I acknowledge that participation requires being away from home for the full program period and confirm I have discussed this commitment with my family and employer.
  • I confirm I am willing to actively engage with my sponsor as required, including contributing to communication and reporting through videos, surveys, written reports, presentations, or other channels before, during and after the program.
  • I agree to make a personal contribution of $220 (including GST) towards the cost of participation and understand that I am responsible for all incidental personal costs such as beverages, internet, private transport, laundry, room service and other non-covered expenses.
  • I will provide accurate health and medical information to the ARLF and, if requested, obtain a medical clearance from a registered medical practitioner to participate. I understand that if I cannot obtain medical clearance, I may be unable to participate in all or part of the program.
