Shaping the future of ARLF: We need your voice

As we near the conclusion of our current strategic planning period on 30 June 2025, the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation (ARLF) is beginning to chart the course for its next chapter. With a renewed focus on leadership, collaboration, and impact, we’re looking to shape our strategy for the next 3 to 5 years – and your insights are at the heart of this process.

Why your reflections matter

ARLF exists to empower leadership across rural, regional, and remote Australia, and our success is deeply rooted in the collective wisdom of our community. Whether you’re an alum, partner, associate, or supporter, your perspective helps us evaluate where we’ve been, where we are, and where we should be going.

That’s why we’re inviting you to share your thoughts on our current initiatives and how ARLF can innovate to continue driving meaningful impact.

Key questions to consider

To guide your reflections, we’ve prepared a few key questions:

  • What is the most transformative impact ARLF has had?
  • If ARLF could innovate in one area to elevate leadership across rural Australia, what would it be?
  • What aspects of our current work do you think are truly non-negotiable for the future?
  • If ARLF were to actively seek to influence something in the future, what would you want this to be, how would we do it, and why?
  • Are there any other reflections you wish to share about ARLF?

Your responses, though entirely optional, will help us identify what we’re doing well and where we have opportunities to grow.

Help us shape the next chapter

We’re committed to remaining focused, impactful, and aligned with the evolving needs of rural, regional and remote Australia. Your input will directly inform our strategy and ensure we continue to drive meaningful change where it’s needed most.
