My role helps achieve the vision of thriving rural, regional, and remote communities strengthening Australia and our regional neighbours by ensuring we are operating in and delivering a quality product in a safe, consistent manner. I work to ensure all projects are managed, resourced, and delivered successfully.

When I’m not working, you might find me at the gym, or wandering the streets with camera in hand… or I’m cooking up a storm.

Where does your passion for rural, regional and remote Australia come from?

I was once told you can teach anybody anything, but you can never change their behaviour – I think that was a load of !@#$ – I strongly believe that everyone has a gift, and spending the last 10 years in leadership development I am always amazed at the transformation of people who choose to undertake self-development, and really step into “what’s possible” I love working with great people doing wonderful things and making a difference in the lives of others – that just passion for Australia.

What’s your professional background?

Prior to joining the ARLF, I spent over 17 years in high-performance sporting and educational sectors. I love working with great people doing wonderful things, I have a keen interest in event management, administration, project management, coaching, and business development.

What’s your favourite memory or most memorable moment in rural, regional and remote Australia?

Holidays were always spent on the mid-north coast between the beach and the bush – my uncle and aunt’s dairy farm to be exact – getting up early to milk the cows.. trying to avoid the cow pads that have been delivered overnight (oh that smell). Riding the motorbikes, herding the cows and being amazed and the process.
