I offer the administrative support reliving some of the day to day stress allowing the executive team to have the main focus on their duties towards the rural Australian communities.
I’m currently a sports trainer for the Gunghalin Bulls, so my free time outside of work consists of footy training and games, as well as spending time with my dog and family.
Where does your passion for rural, regional and remote Australia come from?
Unfortunately, I don’t have a story or a moment as of right now. I have always had a passion for helping people and going out of my way for everyone around me. Being a part of the ARLF is going to allow me to not only help and assist people but be able to experience the different parts of the country I call home.
What’s your favourite memory or most memorable moment in rural, regional and remote Australia?
Growing up in the US, I never got the chance to experience rural, regional and remote Australia. I’m very excited to for the opportunity to see and experience the parts of the country I am from that I haven’t been able to experience as of yet.
What’s your professional background?
I spent several years overseas in the US where I completed my high schooling and started my medical studies, becoming an emergency medical technician. Once I moved back to Australia I became a bartender while I was deciding which career path I wish to endeavour.
Three things you love about working at the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation?
I love the work place environment, I love that everything we do directly impacts peoples lives for the better, and I love that everyone works as a team to support each other.
