Mike Beckingham was one of the driving forces behind establishing the Australian Rural Leadership Foundation. His drive, enthusiasm and ability to communicate with the right people to gain support for the first Australian Rural Leadership Program program that established the basis for the organisation. His legacy lives on today in the many fellows who make a difference in rural and regional Australia. Mike was awarded Honorary Fellowship in November 2009.
